Hearing & Balance Solutions, LLC is Audiologist owned and operated by Dr. Kristin Krotz. Dr. Krotz is an Audiologist with over 29 years of clinical experience in both hospital-based Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) and private practice settings.

Growing up with a hearing-impaired family member, Dr. Krotz developed an understanding and empathy for the communicative challenges encountered by this population. 


Your hearing and balance healthcare is the central focus of this practice.  It's your experience that matters.  Dr. Krotz strives to deliver an exceptional outcome at each and every encounter.  

Dr. Krotz specializes in hearing and balance testing and rehabilitation as well as tinnitus evaluations and treatment. She also provides aural rehabilitation through amplification, hearing aids, assistive listening devices and tinnitus maskers.

Above all, she focuses on helping people.

Dr. Abigail Ritinski joined Hearing & Balance Solutions, LLC in the fall of 2021 to help open a second practice location in Severna Park, Maryland. Dr. Ritinski attended the University of Rhode Island where she earned her B.S. in Communicate Disorders and completed her clinical doctorate in Audiology at Salus University in May 2020. Dr. Ritinski completed one of her graduate school rotations under the clinical supervision of Dr. Krotz, which helped to develop their working relationship.

Dr. Ritinski works with patients of all ages, ranging from newborns to geriatrics, and offers comprehensive audiological services. Her audiological interests include digital hearing aid technology, tinnitus assessment and management, and vestibular assessment and management. Dr. Ritinski has undergone two vestibular trainings at the American Institute of Balance which has helped to shape her approach and management with the dizzy/balance patient population.


Dr. Ritinski enjoys taking an individualized care approach, by setting specific patient goals at each appointment, to help patients be successful and optimize their quality of life during their hearing healthcare journey.
